PubMedID- 21846731 Conversely, based on the immunohistochemical and eber in situ hybridization data obtained in 12 cases with other inflammatory neurological diseases including primary vasculitis, viral encephalitis, mycotic and bacterial meningoencephalitis and one case with neuromyelitis optica, (serafini et al., 2007, 2010 and unpublished results), these authors concluded that intracerebral enrichment in ebv-infected b cells is characteristic of and specific for the multiple sclerosis brain only.
