PubMedID- 22223088 Patients had to have recovered from common terminology criteria for adverse events (ctcaes) grade ⩾2 toxicities (excluding alopecia) caused by previous therapy and were not permitted to have central nervous system metastases, bleeding diathesis or coagulopathy, poorly controlled hypertension, consecutive >+1 proteinuria, recent history of abdominal fistula, gastrointestinal perforation, intra-abdominal abscess, haemorrhage, thrombosis or cardiovascular disease.
