PubMedID- 26160557 The most frequent histological subtypes were adenoma with low-grade intraepithelial dysplasia (lgd) with n = 421 (52.5 %), followed by high-grade intraepithelial dysplasia (hgd) with n = 214 (26.7 %), adenocarcinoma (both invasive and carcinoma in situ) with n = 90 (11.2 %) and serrated polyps (sp) with n = 77 (9.6 %).
